We are currently seeking an apprentice for our busy kitchen. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a chef who has 15 years experience working is some of the finest establishments in the country. We can offer a very friendly and nurturing environment for someone who is willing to commit and dedicate themselves to learning their craft.
What are we looking for?
The right applicant must have either their own transport or willingness to travel
A hygiene certificate and any qualifications would be a bonus but a good attitude and work ethic is more important to us as all necessary training will be given
The right candidate will be required to assist the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation as well as kitchen management, organisation and cleaning
Working 4 to 5 days per week on a rota basis between Wednesday and Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off)

Set in 300 acres of land on a working farm, Frasers is available for location hire for filming and photoshoots on an exclusive hire basis featuring stables and converted agricultural buildings including a Kentish Ragstone Oast and a 6-bedroom medieval hall house.
Crew accommodation and bespoke catering options are available as well as ample parking on 150m x 100m gravel located between the oast house and main function suite barn. Additional parking is available on fields – subject to weather / trackway being laid.

The grand marquee set the scene for a Hen Party Afternoon Tea with these lovely ladies yesterday.
The bride to be chose the Quintessential Afternoon Tea with Prosecco. Her guests opted for traditional tea with the Bride to be choosing coffee.
We catered for a gluten free hen and supplied WiFi for another with an urgent work email! We then arranged transport for the hens to visit the local pub in the evening before they returned to enjoy our hot tub in the Discovery Suite.

Award-winning restaurant with rooms and boutique wedding venue Frasers of Egerton has won the British Farming Award for ‘Large Farm Diversification and Innovation 2017’. Situated in an idyllic location in the heart of the Kent countryside between Ashford and Maidstone, the family-run business has gone from strength to strength since diversification in 1990.
“The British Farming Awards represents the pinnacle of achievement for ‘on farm’ diversification initiatives, championing the best in their respective fields. Frasers grew organically when they began converting redundant farm buildings in the 1990’s to luxury accommodation. Lisa then commenced cooking with locally sourced produce to cater for parties and weddings. The idea of Frasers was born following demand from accommodation guests for high quality local produce. A redundant dairy milking parlour was demolished and in its place a state of the art commercial kitchen and adjacent oak framed Kentish barn was constructed. From opening in 2008 Frasers of Egerton has become increasingly successful resulting in multiple award wins including the AA 2 Rosette Restaurant.

We had a fantastic afternoon a few weeks back preparing some of our amazing dishes from both our A La Carte menu and our 7 Course Tasting menu for them to be photographed for us to use for promotional material, and I think you’ll agree, they look pretty delicious!
Dishes include Pea Veloute with brown shrimps and pesto, Grilled Bowyers brie with pickled vegetables, remoulade and hazelnuts, Slow cooked belly of pork with beans and peas finished with a Biddenden cider reduction, Chocolate Delice with passion-fruit sorbet to name a few.
Wherever possible we try to source all of our ingredients either from the farm or from many of our Artisan producers that are all local to us. We are passionate about food miles at Frasers, the pigeon comes straight from the farm, elderflower cordial is made using elderflowers picked on the farm.
Our chefs carefully construct our menus, taking into consideration what is in season at the time, having this mindset means that our menus change regularly depending on the seasons which makes every day an exciting dining experience.
